Finally, thanks to the MG Marque team of David and Larry Kiehna...a driving event that involves more driving than eating! Leaving from the Collierville Town Square for a change, most of the usual suspects embarked at about 1:00 for the trip of 90 miles or so to the Tupelo Automobile Museum. Although only two British cars made the trip on this rainy day, the Germans, and Japanese were well represented. The four roadsters made the trip to Tupelo tops down the entire way, in spite of a steady rain for a good portion of the trip. It's true....if you drive fast enough, you don't get wet!

Once at the museum, our group had increased to around a dozen members and family - and we all were extremely impressed by the quantity, quality and variety of cars on display. It's well worth the short trip. Our afternoon concluded with some outstanding Italian food at Vanelli's Restaurant in Tupelo - then a drive back into the sunset...

Having a Tiger in your mirror is pretty good incentive to keep up with the group...

No, I wasn't lying about the rain - or the fact that our tops were down...

Once in Tupelo, we decided that tops-up was a wise choice...

Only two Brits of the four sports cars (five, actually - Dana Henking's 911 is out of the picture)...

Here is a small section of the museum, arranged in chronological order...

It wouldn't be an official BSCC event if food weren't involved...

Our MG Marque leaders (David & Larry Kiehna) pointed toward home - and a brilliant orange sunset...
